Reconnecting with Desire,
A Nervous System Approach
What If Your Lack of Desire Isn't the Problem... But a Protective Response?
Discover how your nervous system shapes desire and learn practical, compassionate tools to reconnect with yourself and your relationships.
If you've ever wondered...
-
Why has my desire disappeared?
-
Why do I love my partner but don't want intimacy?
-
Why does sex sometimes feel overwhelming instead of connecting?
-
Why do I keep telling myself I "should" want more?
-
Is something wrong with me?
You're not alone.
For many people, desire doesn't disappear because they're broken, it becomes quieter when the nervous system no longer experiences enough safety, connection, or space for pleasure.
This course will help you understand why.
Welcome to Reconnecting with Desire
Most advice about desire focuses on increasing libido, improving technique, or trying harder.
This course takes a different approach.
Rather than asking how to force desire back, we'll explore what your nervous system has been protecting—and how safety, curiosity, and self-compassion create the conditions where desire can naturally return.
Grounded in Somatic Experiencing®, Polyvagal Theory, attachment science, and trauma-informed practice, this course offers education, guided practices, reflective journaling, and meditations designed to help you rebuild your relationship with desire from the inside out.
Whether you're single, partnered, healing from trauma, experiencing stress, navigating menopause or hormonal changes, or simply feeling disconnected from your body, you'll discover practical tools that support lasting change without pressure or shame.
Imagine if...
-
You no longer felt broken because your desire had changed.
-
You understood what your body has been trying to communicate.
-
Intimacy felt less like pressure and more like an opportunity for connection.
-
You could approach yourself with curiosity instead of self-criticism.
-
You had practical tools to help your nervous system feel safer, calmer, and more connected.
-
You trusted that desire doesn't have to be forced—it can emerge naturally when the conditions are right.
This course is designed to help you begin that journey.
